Those of you that were at our last Nā Hawaiʻi gathering will most likely remember that there will be no Nā Hawaiʻi meeting in March. Our next scheduled gathering will be April 20th, 2pm at the West Linn Fire Hall.

Having that said, Joe and I would like to open our house up for very informal movie night on Friday, March 14th at 7pm. We have a few new DVDs that we would like to share. One DVD is on Israel Kamakawiwoʻole and is called The Man Behind the Music. The second DVD we have is on Hawaiian Slack Key and is done by Keola Beamer. It's called Ki Hoʻalu. Both are really great films and we think you would enjoy them.

Since it's a Friday night and most of us work, we would like to make this a snack and dessert night; we will provide coffee and soda and some munchies and you can bring whatever you might want to snack on during the films. If coming straight from work, you may want to run through a fast-food place and bring your dinner with you.

We also have some fun YouTube segments saved, and if you want to bring your ukuleles or guitars, you are more than welcome to burn the midnight oil with us and we can play and sing until the cows come home!

We have a small house, but think we can accommodate about 20 to 25 people who like being in close proximity to each other! Please RSVP at our house number (mostly a message line) at 503-430-0065 if you will be able to come. Also, we live on a flag lot, (down a semi-long dirveway) and it would be a good idea to park on the street and walk down the driveway so that you don't get blocked in when you are ready to leave. Our address is 18227 SW Monte Verdi Blvd, Aloha 97007 if you want to MapQuest it. We are very close to 185th and Farmington. You can call me (Terry) at my office #503-439-1500 for more directions.
Please come join us!
